Markham Cycles Community Bike Hub
Markham Cycles is Markham’s community bicycle hub, and the first of its kind in York Region. It is a critical piece of Markham’s cycling infrastructure, and a key driver in getting more Markham residents out on their bikes. We aim to build cycling culture in Markham by offering free programs and workshops to anyone who is interested in cycling. These programs include access to bikes and tools at drop-in bike repair sessions, workshops on cycling topics, cycling mentorship and loans, community bike rides, bike rescue and youth-focused programs. All these programs share the aim of removing barriers and making it easier for people to start cycling. Markham Cycles is a project of The Centre for Active Transportation at Clean Air Partnership (CAP), a registered charity (89046 9562 RR000). We work in close cooperation with Markham staff, the Markham Pedestrian and Cycling Advisory Committee, and the partners listed below to deliver our cycling programming in Markham. A big thank you for your ongoing commitment and support, which makes this project possible.
