Description Looking to learn new skills employers value? Build online community? Advocate for sound mental health plans that will govern how our community can access mental health resources in Canada in a post-pandemic world? Apply for our Volunteer Fellowship program today to be a real change maker in the Markham-Unionville, Markham-Stouffville AND Newmarket-Aurora ridings! Future Majority is recruiting for the newly established chapters in Markham Unionville, Markham Stouffville and Newmarket-Aurora to work with young leaders so that every politician and political party prioritizes and advocates for our collective needs.

Future Majority is building a team of volunteer fellows to start the week of March 15. Through a series of specialized workshops, hands on practicum, and weekly coaching, Fellows will build a brand new volunteer team in Markham-Unionville Markham-Stouffville and Newmarket-Aurora, and graduate the fellowship with experience and skills in:

communication
public relations, including press and politicians
digital engagement
political literacy and mobilization

We’re looking for hardworking, passionate individuals who are interested in growing their skills, building community, and making a difference in the ridings of Markham-Unionville, Markham-Stouffville, AND Newmarket-Aurora.
